2. Wax Model Creation:
Using the time-honoured lost wax technique, we create a wax model that serves as the foundation for your ring's unique form.
3. Investment Mould:
The wax master is sprued onto a casting tree placed inside a casting flask. This flask is placed into a 700°C oven to evaporate the wax and leave a cavity inside the investment.
4. Casting in .925 Silver:
Your design comes to life as we cast it in high-quality .925 silver under vacuum, providing the foundation for the craftsmanship ahead.
5. Refining the Casting:
The casting is removed from the casting tree and carefully refined, addressing intricate details and perfecting the overall shape of the ring.
6. Oxidizing Process:
The oxidation process adds depth and character to your ring, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
7. Stone Setting:
If your design includes stones, they are delicately set ensuring both beauty and durability.
8. Sanding and Polishing:
A series of multiple sanding and polishing stages follow, bringing out the luster and brilliance of your ring.
9. Quality Inspection:
Finally, each ring undergoes a stringent quality inspection to ensure it meets our exacting standards. Due to the nature of handcrafted metal techniques, slight variations are expected to result in a unique and personalised touch for each piece.
